I went again the next afternoon but there was a waitlist and i couldnt play.Īll-in-all, i was really pleased and impressed with the poker options in downtown Detroit. Pretty easy table, i doubled up in under 2 hours and had to leave to go to the event. There was one other Movement DEMF attendee playing and we both recognized each other by our 'weekend pass' arm bands. It was mostly regulars who knew each other and the dealer. I was able to get a seat immediately and sat at a friendly 1-2 NLH game. It was quiet room that day, only 4 tables running and a daily tournament wrapping up. The room and tables were nice and comfortable. I was only able to play for a few hours on Saturday afternoon. So I ended up only checking out Greektown's poker room since it was only 3 blocks walking distance from my room at the Marriott Renaissance Center during the Memorial Day weekend.
